How to play Baccarat:
Welcome!
Baccarat is one of the simplest card games you can find in almost any casino. Its history has a brief acquaintance with Blackjack, but in real terms, its actually simpler than Blackjack. Which is very good seeing how Blackjack takes practically no effort to learn either. Baccarat itself though has a high reputation of attracting High rollers, bringing with it, its own unique sophistication. But now, over time with Baccarat, its becoming progressively popular among casinos attracting all sorts of gamblers. If your looking for an extraordinary game, here you can learn many of the fine qualities Baccarat has to offer.
Objective
The objective in Baccarat is plain and simple and doesn't take a genius to understand.  The
player(s) and dealer ( Banker ) are trying to get closer to nine on a two to three card handout.
Rules
First off, in any table game, it would be preferable to know what kind of table you are playing on.
The Baccarat table layout is easy to understand. There are two sides to a table, both being mirror images of each other, with a few minor differences, on each side. There can be up to 14 players in a game, ( 15 numbered spaces on a table ), but the number 13 is left out due to superstition reasons. Right above the numbered rows that separate the player(s) are letters that spell P-L-A-Y-E-R-S, representing where a player can place chips to wager on the players hand.
Above the "Players wager," are the letters B-A-N-K-E-R, representing where wagers on the bankers hand can be set. Lastly above the "Bankers wager," is the word "Tie," and numbers "8 to 1," meaning the type of odds that particular casino pays out on Tie bets. Tie bets can be placed just below "Tie, 8 to 1," on the smaller numbers. In the middle of the table are also a row of numbers, ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15 ), with the exception of 13, where commission fees are kept track of from every game a player participates in. Casinos usually don't collect the commission fee(s) from player every game, but rather wait until the player(s) are finished.
Before a player can leave the table, they are required to pay their commission fee(s) to the caller.
The "Drop Box," "Discard Tray," and "Tip Box," are located just below the caller, for dealer use only, except for the Tip box, for obvious reasons.
Usually, there are three callers at Baccarat tables, each having specific duties. The main caller stands in the semi-circle area of the table, across from the two dealers and makes calls upon what hands are being played on the table. Callers direct basic game play around the table and carefully watch over the table. The other two dealers, are situated in the rectangular area of the table, taking care of the betting part of the game. They deal with the chips and handle the cards, on the side of the table they are assigned to.

Now in a game, the player(s) and dealer are both drawn two cards, player(s) first. Card values stand as:
- 10, J, K, Q count as 0
- Ace's sit at 1
- All other cards are what their faces represent.

If a player(s) hand equals 6, 7, 8, or 9 then the player(s) stands automatically. ( 8 and 9 are automatic winners. )
If a player(s) hand equals 5 or less for their first two cards, then the player(s) will automatically be dealt a third card. When a player(s) are/is dealt a third card,  the dealer then must act upon where he/she stands.
After all the player(s) moves are through, here are the dealers options:
 If a dealers ( Bankers ) hand equals 0, 1, or 2, then a third card will always be drawn.
If a dealers hand equals 7, 8, or 9, then the dealer stands automatically.  ( 8 and 9 are automatic winners. )
If a dealers hand is anywhere below 5 then they will automatically hit.
After final cards have been drawn, whoever is closest to 9 wins. That's the technical side of it, but don't worry yourself to much, it sinks right in , once you start playing. But also, if you are playing online, rules of play may differ between different gambling sites. So pay close attention to the fine print before gambling.
Betting
When betting in Baccarat, there are three ways you can bet. You can either place a bet on the players hand, bankers hand, or a "Tie," where the banker and players hand ties.
Your best chance is to place a bet on the player(s) or bankers hand, being the house advantage is lower for both of these compared to the Tie bet. The Tie bet on the other hand has a house advantage that's a little unreasonable, and normally a player shouldn't bet for the player(s) or bankers.
