The Dodge Caravan typically scores near the top for minivans in magazine reviews. DK has only put 900 miles on his new Caravan. However, this is his second Caravan and his first had 203,000. So far, DK is very pleased with his 2000 model. His van is "well- assembled" and is of high-quality. Handling is the Caravan's strength and DK says his "handles like a car." DK ordered the 3.0 liter which he says has lots of power. DK gave his Caravan top marks for acceleration, passing and hill climbing. In the survey, the only categories in which the Caravan did not received top marks were stroage and braking. DK did give his Caravan "good" marks in these categories. The Caravan does seem to lag a bit behind other mini vans in utilizing interior space. Overall, an excellent review for a top mini van. DK concludes "we are pleased with our purchase and would recommnd it to anyone."
