The Ford Focus is Ford's eventual replacement for the Escort. Ford has introduced the Focus before entirely phasing out the Escort. The Focus is designed to compete with Saturn, Civic and Corolla. QG has only logged 300 miles on his Focus. However, he notes that he is "surprised at how solid and quiet the car felt." He notes that the car has the look and feel of a European touring sedan. Its styling is quite good,, and we think superior to the Corolla and Civic. It will be important to see how well the Focus holds up over time. If it is as dependable as its counterparts, it will really make a dent in the small compact segment. So far, QG has been pleased with his vehicle. Handling is clearly its strongest quality so far. Power is good. Good marks for a quality sedan.
