TAZ has only 3,700 miles on his Sierra but so far the vehicle seems "solid." AZ's Sierra performs well in nearly every category. Power with the 4.8 liter Vortec is excellent. Acceleration and highway passing received top marks. AZ also gave his GMC top marks for handling. AZ also gave his new GMC top marks for transmission and braking. The extended cab provides good interior room which is more than adequate for him. AZ opted for the two-wheel drive model. The ride is good although AZ did not give his Sierra the best mark in this category. AZ has also been getting very good gas mileage. He notes that he has 17 mpg city and 23 highway with a steady pace. Not bad, for a V8. Overall, an excellent review.
