Owner's Review:

"The Jeep Wrangler does an excellent job of being what it is...It's a Jeep. It will go anywhere I point it and do it with little effort. I can't seem to get it stuck, anywhere; snow, mud, sand, gravel, streams, my bosses front lawn...It, however, does have its limitations. It is not for the squimish or faint of heart. It is a rugged vehicle which originated from our countries cry for a go-anywhere/do-anything all purpose transporter during WW2 and has had little change since. The ride is like a truck compared to a luxury car, but unlike the older Jeeps, it will not damage kidneys or rattle fillings loose. It has an option of either cargo space or backseat not both at once. You can remove the rear seat or fold it up. The soft-top version has a lot of wind noise on the highway. I can hear a conversation going on inside the vehicle when I'm 10 feet outside the vehicle and visa-versa. It is easy, when you have a soft-top, to get into a locked Jeep. So do not keep valuables inside it when your not there. Invest in a security system. As for safety, its a small vehicle. It has front driver and passenger airbags and lap/shoulder saftey harnesses for both front and rear passengers. The engine is a quick inline 6. It can get you out of harm's way with energy to spare. Fuel mileage is a disappointing 17-22mpg, I get 19mpg. the turning radius is a mere 33ft. You can turn on a dime, and park anywhere you dare try. It does however, pose a significant dilemma on sunny days, whether or not I should ride with the top up or down, door tops on or off, or just totally remove the doors. And you can even put the windshield down (NOT ADVISED FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING) but you do what makes you happy. If you get the inside all muddy, you can just take up the carpeting and hose down the whole inside. Don't worry it has drain plugs on the floor and the instrument cluster is all waterproof. It is a very versatile little vehicle. Its rugged, sporty, quick & nimble. If fun and advdnture is what you're looking for, I highly recomend a Jeep Wrangler. Even kids love it... But look somewhere else if you are looking for a primary family vehicle, its fun and the kids might enjoy it too, but getting a car seat in and out is a pain if you do it often. Good luck and happy shopping."

Owner's Comments:

"If you compare the newer jeeps to the old ones the old jeeps didn't have very good heaters but the new one's will cook you out.The new one's though are built as well as the older jeeps. You have to really like that style of vehicle to fully apreciate it.IT's noisy, it doesn't ride like a caddy, but it's not to uncomfortable. my wife likes to ride with the top and door's off. we can go places most car's can't go, to go camping and fishing off the beaten path. I really enjoy my jeep!! And it gets great gas mileage to! "
