"The Lexus LX470 and its less luxurious twin, Toyota Landcruiser are impressive all-weather machines. PV gave her LX470 very good marks in most categories. The Lexus' heft is apparent in acceleration. PV gave it "good" marks for handling. The Lexus is a big, tall, SUV and handling is surprisingly good. Acceleration received top marks credit to its modern V8. PV also gave her Lexus top marks for its smooth and comfortable ride. At these lofty prices, one expects luxury, and the LX delivers. Seats, air conditioning and fit and finish all received top marks. The vehicle has not been trouble-free, with one problem noted. The problem was serious, though, and sidelined the LX470 for an extended period of time. PV says that a computer chip failed causing the engine to stall. The part was ordered but took an extended period of time for delivery. PV says she was without her car for over a month. This was the only problem mentioned. Otherwise, an excellent review for a top-of-the-line super-luxury vehicle."
