The GMC Yukon has been redesigned for 2000. GMC calls its new Suburban-class the Yukon XL. This review is for the GMC Yukon-sized SUV. JM gave average scores overall for his SUV. The vehicle's strong qualities are highway handling, turning, acceleration and interior comfort. JM marked his Yukon down for braking. This seems to be related to brake repairs which have been needed already. Jm notes that he had replaced the front brake pads twice in 32,000 miles. JM notes he thinks the 2000 Yukon has improved brake system. Although JM seemed to give his Yukon average scores, JM does not recommend it and he would not buy another. Overall Rating:
