The classic American muscle car has been around for years. Every several years there have been subtle improvements. EI has a classic color, red. He is in the age bracket, under 20, when this type of car is almost magical. EI's Firebird naturally accelerates and handles well, even with the V-6. There is plenty of power for hills and passing. EI also gave good scores for comfort conveniences, such as the heater and air conditioning. The seats, however, did not get strong marks for comfort. The stiff ride, necessary for cutting edge handling, is a bit unforgiving as EI notes. We were surprised EI did not rate the transmission better than a "disagree." Brakes fortunately lived up to the expectations and received a strong score. Overall, EI is pleased with his Firebird.
