MOD's Saturn SLT has been a great car. In fact, it received a perfect score in every category. At the time of the survey MOD had put only 318 miles on the vehicle but it is clear she is pleased. She has a 1.9 16-valve twin cam engine which obviously provides more than adequate power. Her Saturn is one of the last of the 1999s and she got the 2000 blue, very unique. She got almost every option available. MOD recommends the vehicle although she admits there are other cars with more power. She suggests the new Saturn LS with the V6. You can visit MOD at http://hometown.aol.com/TSpsych/Car.html. Updated: 1/16/2000 I just wanted to add that I am very happy that I bought a Saturn. The service that I get from Saturn of Modesto is great, which makes the whole car experience even better. Saturn owners are typically loyal. And, Saturn owners are typically very pleased with their vehicles. CV likes his Saturn and gave it exceptional marks. He notes that it has been a "very good car." The vehicle has been dependable, a known Saturn trait. CV's Saturn rated very well with top scores in every category. The only category CV marked his standard down was turning capabilities. CV still ranked his Saturn as "agrees" in that category. CV's notes that his Saturn is very utilitarian getting 30 mpg and has highest score in safety. A very positive review for a solidly built domestic sedan. Overall Rating:

"I love my Saturn, though it is time to get a new one. It was originally bought to drive me the 50+ mile drive to practice 5-6 times/week. My parents didn't want to put the wear and tear on their more expensive cars. Once I proved that I could get good grades in school, my parents drove it the 1500 miles so that I could have it. My dad is extremely pleased with the plastic exterior, as the car has seen plenty of car doors and bumpers on my cramped campus. After 106,000 miles, my car's "Service Engine Soon" light clicked on. I was able to get my car in for service immediately, and the service man was extremely helpful. I now have to buy my own car and I am seriously considering the new LS. I had a great test-drive. Perhaps I will get a second Saturn as I am pleased with the service and the car."
