San Francisco, CA  2000 VW BUG Silver 700 mi ABS, Side impact AB

Every one knows the VW New Bug has been popular. But how does it drive? KS of San Francisco is generally pleased with her new Bug. There are some problems, however. For instance she does not feel the Bug stops as well as it might. She also does not think it is spacious, something one might expect from a Bug of any genre. In San Francisco, she needs her heater, even in the summer, and she rates it just average. Nonethess, she does give high marks to the Bug's handling. She is also pleased with the new Bug's power, but does not give this category the highest rating. KS remarks that her new Bug is "fun to drive," almost a given, but she does mention that the exterior blind spots make the vehicle a little tricky to drive at times. Overall, a very positive review. After only 700 miles, little more than a test drive, KS has probably not "bonded" with her new Bug. We will check back with her in a few months to see how it is holding up.
