Mercedes' SLK is a two-seater which lacks the sportiness of say, a BMW Z3, yet retains much of the comfort and sophistication of the Mercedes marquee. JL thinks of his SLK as a "sporty" car. He notes that it is "fun to drive and responsive." His SLK retains the roadster charm with road-feel and engine noise. The SLK is the perfect "week end car" as JL notes there is "no extra room" in the passenger compartment. The top takes logs of room away in the trunk. Overall, JL gave his SLK a nearly perfect score. The only category in which he marked it down a bit was for "size." Overall, an excellent review. Overall Rating:
