The Cavalier is a neat package with a lot of appeal for the money. CP is pleased with her new car. She only has 510 miles but so far the "new car" honeymoon continues. CP is pleased with how well the Cavalier handles giving it top marks in all handling categories. Interior ergonomics are excellent with the air-conditioner, heater and gauges receiving top scores. Braking is first-rate and so far the car has been trouble-free. The only area of concern is in power. She gave her Cavalier the next to best rating for acceleration but hill climbing and passing received "neutral" ratings. This is not the car to blow the doors off of a Trans-Am, but it does have spunk. The fun handling can make up for speed and CP is not disappointed. An excellent score for a favorable American economy sedan. Overall Rating:

GT has already put 8,450 miles on his new Cavalier. He gave his Cavalier top marks in every category. GT notes that what he likes most about his Cavalier is the way it looks and the ride. He has the standard transmision and finds the Cavalier's performance with the 2.4 Liter engine is quite satisfying. GT compares his Cavalier to the Dodge Neon and Saturn and finds the Cavalier has substantially more power. GT is pleased with pretty much everything else about his car noting "...I really love the way [my Cavalier] looks, the sound system, the sunroof, power everything, nice rims quick shifts and good stability." GT sums it up, "[i]f you're looking for a car with good performance and style, get a Z24 and you will now what I'm talking about! (oh every 5th oil change is free!)" Overall Rating:

With 250 hp, the Chevy Cavalier has lots of power. VB's new Cavalier is a good performer and he gave it top marks. He gave the vehicle top marks for power, brakes and transmission. In fact, VB gave his Cavalier top marks in every other category as well confirming this is a very solid performer in its class. VB sums it up: "I love it." Overall Rating:
