How to play
Keno: Welcome! Keno is another very popular game and is another very easy casino game to learn. Also what make this game so unique is there is always a chance to make large sums of money on farley small wagers to begin with. It is a very fun game and can be played in small or large groups of people all looking for a good time. Objective The objective of the game is very easy to understand. To play Keno, you select a minimum of 4 but no more than 10 numbers between 1 and 80. Each selection is called a 'Spot', so if you select 10 numbers you are playing a 10 Spot game. Simply mark a blank Keno ticket with the numbers of your selection. Then submit your ticket to the Keno clerk with your wager and the clerk will give you a duplicate ticket. In a few minutes, twenty numbered Keno balls will be drawn at random from a barrel containing 80 numbered balls, and if enough of your selected numbers are drawn, you are a winner. The results are displayed on screens, called Keno boards, throughout the Casino. Rules The rules, like the game play, are very simple. When playing Keno in most casinos, usually an area of the casino is dedicated to Keno in large lounges. Also there are employees who work at the casino, known as" Keno Runners," whom will collect your ticket and winnings and run them out to you when you decide not to play in the Keno lounge. Minimum bets can be as low as 5 cents, although most casinos only accept bets of $1 or more. When entering a game of Keno in a casino, usually it is wise to grab a house's brochure to give you information on types of tickets that can be played and number of "spots" caught. Also casinos differ on wagers, and if you studied your info on different casinos in the area, some casinos offer up to $50,000 on a $1 dollar bet. Also this can depend on the kind of tickets you play with and the number of spots you have covered. Also you must remember there are house advantages and the percentage varies upon were you are playing at. It is always rounded 30% or more. The chances of hitting one number in 80 is 0.25%, making Keno among the worst bets you can make. Take your time when learning about casino games to make sure you fully understand! Have fun and don't squander to much money, Good Luck! |
