The Yugo
was an experiment which clearly failed. The adage "you get
what you pay for" has never ringed more true. The Yugo was
brought to America in 1988 by none other than Malcolm Bricklin,
remember the Bricklin? The $3,995 Yugo seemed like a bargain
until you owned one. Dealers could not make money on the Yugo
so service for a car that demanded it was almost nonexistent.
Now, the Yugo has reached the endangered species status and there
does not appear to be anyone who wants to save it. |
