11/18/99 1996 Honda Accord EX

"As you can see by the mileage, this car has been driven a lot. It is my second Accord. I bought this one because of the virtually bulletproof reliability of my first one. When I traded my first Accord (1990LX) it had 280,000 miles on the clock and was still running well. My only expenditures for the 96 Accord have been for routine maintenance and tires/brakes. I've never experienced this level of quality with any other make of car I've owned.
The disappointing side of the story is the less than satisfactory treatment by the dealership. It seems they still live up to the stereotypical "car salesman" mentality. The "up" side of the story is their service dept. I've had good experiences from the start.
Their are times I've wished for a little more room or a little cushier ride on a long trip but all things considered, this car has been great. The overall handling is very good."
